A photo must be presented to obtain the ticket. Photos can be taken at the train station but £5 (in £1 coins) are needed.
Daily tickets are available which do not need a photocard but currently cost £7.90 before 9 o'clock and £4.70 after 9 o'clock. These tickets are available just for the day.
It must be noted that a bus will also be needed in Brighton which currently costs about £10 for unlimited travel for a whole week.
